What we call life is created by our thoughts.
We live with the past of our ancestors and believe it is good the way it is.

But change only comes through openness,
the problems of today cannot be solved by yesterday’s means.

That is why it is important to be vigilant, to track down our feelings.

Where has this glorification of the spirit taken us?

So many books have been read,
have only been read by a few,
hence their impact has failed to materialise.

My installation at Assi Ghat tries to show,
tries to show the creatures of God,
the birds,
the place in our society that they deserve.
In Europe, we have already lost many of them,
Here in India, things are already beginning to change.

When people have health problems, they take medicine,
they drink clean water,
everything they can do to get better.

But the birds, they have no mask against air pollution, no safe water to drink.
What can they do?

It is up to us to act for them.
